Designed for 10 years use, Circular Reusable Coffee Cup is 100% recyclable. Backed by Circular&Co two-year guarantee.
A circular product: By using waste materials to make new products which are then fully recyclable, we can reuse the same materials over and over, closing the circle. This drastically reduces CO2 emissions, stops consumption of the planet’s precious resources, and eliminates pollution; the three core environmental challenges humanity faces. The Circular Checklist: Choose Recycled. Challenge Longevity. Check Recyclable.
Throwaway single use cups have three problems: what they’re made of, how many there are, and where they end up. The UK is using and binning at least 2.5 billion takeaway cups a year. Just one in every 400 – are recycled. Every day around half a million become street litter, and the vast bulk of them end up in landfill, where the plastic could take centuries to degrade. Most takeaway paper cups have a polyethylene plastic lining which makes them difficult to recycle. And even with the move to compostable cups most are only compostable in an industrial composer rather than at home.
Remember that with any reusable product, it needs to be reused many times to keep its lifetime carbon emissions below that of the equivalent number of disposable cups - so don’t leave your reusable collecting dust at home!
