  • Thyme is a full bodied herbal medicine with a penchant for immunity. It is wonderful for all sorts of upper respiratory congestion and inflammation. Has antimicrobial and antibacterial properties (great as a mouthwash for halitosis, dental decay, oral thrush, sore throats). Also good for the digestive system, easing excessive bloating.

  • Rosemary is great for the brain, enhancing memory and sharpening concentration. Super high in antioxidents, soothes the nervous system and is also a key remedy for the cardiovascular system, improving poor circulation, reducing high blood pressure. Also good for the skin and hair!

  • Use to add flavour to a dish or medicinally for health benefits.

  • Oregano has benefits as a medicinal herb with strong antibacterial and antimicrobial actions that ease colds, influenza, fevers and upper respiratory tract infections. Use in a tea together with thyme, rosemary and cinnamon to ease blocked sinuses, persistent coughs, asthma and bacterial infections.

Apricots (Unsulphured)

  • Our dried apricots are preservative-free. They are naturally dark because they do not contain sulphur dioxide, which is used as a preservative in the "normal" orange dried apricots.

    They have a much richer and sweeter taste than the more common 'orange' apricots.

Desiccated Coconut

  • Desiccated coconut is made from the white fleshy part of the coconut kernel, after the brown skin has been removed. It has a fresh coconut taste and has no added sugar. Good source of fibre.

Dark Speckled Lentils (Puy)

  • Great added to salads, soups, pastas. These lentils hold their shape well so great to use as a meat substitute in burgers, bolognaise, shepherds pie. Can be sprouted.

    Instructions: No need to soak, rinse well before placing in a pan with water, bring to the boil and then simmer for 15-20 mins until soft.

    Recipes

  • A good source of protein, calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, zinc, folic acid and vitamins A and B.

    Good to sprout which improves the bio-availability of the proteins and nutrients and makes them more digestible. Soak overnight in water, rinse and then place in jam jar covered with muslin cloth, keep returning to the jar every 24 hrs to rinse and return until you see small sprouts appear. Once sprouted rinse and store in jar in fridge. Eat raw in salads or cook once sprouted.

Buckwheat (Organic)

  • A great grain to add texture to a dish. Add to salads, use as you would rice, can be used in breakfast dishes. Can be sprouted.

    Instructions: Rinse well before placing in a pan with water, bring to boil and simmer for 15-20 mins until soft and water absorbed.

  • Buckwheat is actually a seed rather than a grain and is gluten free.

    A good source of vitamin A, B vitamins, iron, protein, calcium and selenium.

    A great one to sprout, soak for an hour in water, drain and then place in a jar with a muslin cloth cover for 1 day and you will see small sprouts appear. Add sprouts to salads and dishes. Sprouting increases the nutritional content and makes in more available to digest.
